Just an update on the Firmant project. In the spring and summer I was funded to work on Firmant through RCOS. This semester I'm working on it independently, but still keeping the RCOS community informed.
Currently Firmant is 'stable'. I use this term carefully because while the functionality that exists is stable; it is not yet feature complete (there exists no easy way to write posts -- something I've been wrestling with).
Last post (did I somehow miss my August post? I'll look in my backups) I promised:
- More stable deployment under LigHTTPD (currently stable mainly under wsgiref).
- Comments system allowing anonymous comments.
- reStructedText Plugin
- Embedded latex in reStructuredText (Possibly pushed to September).
I've delivered on the first three. LaTeX has been postponed in favor of a working administrative backend.
